Had to post this beautiful watercolor done by Katherine in the last couple weeks. She is entering the "Wildlife Forever State Fish Art Contest." Did not know the state fish was the Guadalupe Bass. The prize winner from Texas receives a trip to the Mall of America in Minnesota. That could be fun. The final prize winner will have their art on a postage stamp. OK, that could be cool. Entries must be postmarked by March 31. We'll keep you posted.

Lupe the Jumping Bass

She is so talented! That is definitely a stamp, although who goes into the post office and says "Yes, I would like a book of stamps of the state fish?" HHHMMMMM. Nevertheless, a very good painting and the Mall of America would be a blast! keep us posted.
A girl after my own heart! I love the painting. What talent. Katherine and I need to get together and paint. Thanks for sharing her work. I would like to see more.
