Out of a 24 hour period, the koala spends his time this way.
~ approx. 14.5 hours sleeping
~ approx. 4.5 hours eating
~ approx. 4.5 hours resting, but awake
~ approx. 4 minutes traveling
When Abigail shared this information with Rebecca, Rebecca said, "If Katherine were an animal, she would be a koala."
Well. O-kay. (grin)

Well, I don't know about Katherine, but you could probably get me to sign up for the Koala thing on alot of days. Sounds like quite the life. 4 minutes traveling - wow! What must that be like?
Hope you're feeling better today. Missed you last night. Boom-whacking was a little free form with a creativity session, but as usual, they seemed to enjoy it. You'd think the newness would have worn off by now, but they seem to still think they're having great fun.
Very interesting. I think Rebecca's comment is very telling. By the way, LOVE the tulip pic. You're right, they're definitely my favorite sign of spring.
Hey, forget the sleep even. I could definitely go for 4 minutes of travel a day.
Melissa, the boomwhacker kids aren't going to want me back after they've had you for 2 weeks!
where do I sign up to be a koala? boomwhackers was interesting last night...but very fun!
Koala is my kind of guy!! :-)
I don't know about Boom-whackers, but don't you believe a word you hear about the Sign group running over and attacking each other last night ...
I leave you guys alone for one week...
Well the boomwhackers were freeform and the sign choir apparently got violent (according to Sharon's comment), but the chimes actually played MUSIC!!! They learned 2 whole songs. I was so proud!
I do think I might be a Koala Bear.
Do they still have them at the Ft. Worth Zoo? I know when Maggie was little and we lived in Grapevine, the Zoo had them on loan or something. It was a big deal too. Much to the dismay of all the folks coming to see them. All they did was eat, sleep and poop. Well, I do more than eat, sleep and poop...but at a snail's pace. Any Holmes in Buna for Redbud this weekend?
