I know many of us have stacks of books (or a list of books) that we've been reading through this summer. I've been reading quite a bit myself. I'm wondering...what is the best book you've read so far this summer? It can be fiction or non-fiction. Come on...share the joy.

I read the last of Terri Blackstock's "Light" series (Dawn's Light?). Good - and shocking! Not time for reading much here. I have been revisiting the O'Malleys this week. I'm kind of down and worn out and they are like an old comfy blanket and comfort food all wrapped up together - except not ratty looking and without calories. Not much else, sadly. There are some new ones coming out that I might just have to treat myself to. Susan May Warren and Elizabeth White. We'll see.
I've been revisiting Harry Potter, reading back through the whole series back to back. I just finished book 5, and need to get my book 6 back from my coworker so I can continue. It's amazing all the things you forget or miss the first (or second, or third) time through. I LOVE these books - they're so creative and entertaining.
I read two books on vacation (and before we finished 5800 miles, I wished I had had another!!). They were both good:
Playing for Pizza - John Grisham
The Road to Cana - Anne Rice
It seems that reading was the topic of the week for blogging last week. Check out my friend Amie's post - I figured you'd appreciate it: http://allaboutamie.blogspot.com/2008/06/big-reading.html
I've read 2 Danielle Steel novels so far - Zoya and one that I can't remember the name of (clearly, I liked it) and right now I'm reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter.
